Work of Art Custom Batons creates one of a kind conducting batons using burl wood and other exotic woods. Each baton is crafted for the conductor without the use of templates giving you a truly one of a kind baton.
Our history... As a way to unwind, Mark began turning handles for batons in the woodshop of David Ramsey. Friends and colleagues began asking for batons, so Mark started turning out more and more. Understanding that many conductors have weight, length, and balance preferences; these bespoke batons are about the natural beauty of the wood used for the handle and the unique shape. Lengths vary from 12" to 15". No templates or dyes are used. Each baton is crafted for the conductor, and truly is a Work of Art. |
